The poll is a highly sensitive area containing important nerves and nerve endings that can easily be affected by pressure. To minimize strain, our bridles feature anatomically shaped headpieces that allow natural space around the ears while distributing pressure across a larger surface area. This reduces localized pressure points and allows the horse to relax through the neck and poll, supporting natural movement and improved balance.

Our cheekpieces are specifically designed to reduce pressure from the neck through our Elastic Cradles™. A Cradle is an integrated elastic band on which the bit rests, allowing it to move softly rather than remain static in the horse’s mouth. Since the mouth is an extremely sensitive area, this elastic response improves comfort by reducing constant pressure on the teeth and jaw, encouraging a more relaxed and responsive contact. This design offers a gentler, more horse-friendly alternative to traditional bridles.

Our nosebands are designed to follow the natural contours of the horse’s head, minimizing pressure on sensitive nerve points. By reducing unnecessary pressure on the jaw, cheekbones, and airways, they support greater freedom of movement, improved breathing, and a softer acceptance of the contact. The result is a calmer, more comfortable horse that can stay focused and perform at its best over time.

Our browbands are designed with a U-shaped anatomical form to eliminate pressure on the horse’s forehead and eye socket, enhancing comfort and focus. Each browband features a rubber-coated anti-slip lining to ensure it stays securely in place throughout the ride. Our patented Click-It™ system, unique to PS of Sweden, allows for effortless removal or replacement, even while the horse is wearing the bridle.

To ensure an optimal fit across different horses, our bridles offer enhanced adjustability with more closely spaced adjustment holes. This makes it easier to achieve a correct and comfortable fit for a wide range of head shapes and sizes, supporting balance and comfort in work.

All leather used in our bridles is vegetable-tanned. This method results in a durable yet supple leather that ages beautifully while being more environmentally responsible. We continuously work to refine our materials and production methods to improve quality and reduce environmental impact—without compromising performance or longevity
